Jakub Dobeš is a Czech professional ice hockey goaltender for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). Selected in the fifth round, 136th overall, by the Canadiens in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, Dobeš burst onto the scene in 2025, starting his NHL career with an impressive 5-0-0 record and a stellar .940 save percentage.
Before making his mark in the NHL, Dobeš played collegiate hockey at Ohio State University, where he earned multiple accolades, including Big Ten Goaltender of the Year and Big Ten Freshman of the Year.
