A future dream for Alia is to run the famed New York City Marathon, which is many runners’ ultimate goal, but for now she’s focusing on short-term goals. “I’ve reached a great place in my life [with] my relationship to exercise [and fitness], whether it’s functional training or running, [my approach] is very balanced and healthy”. For now, she’s putting her energy towards her weekly run club, weight lifting, tennis, and biking around New York.
